2nd XI vs. Brighton Central
Chippy's in fine form with a snail paced 69, (the magic N). Griff made an 'unGriffmanlike' 28, (dropped 3 times, picked out their only fieldsman to be caught). Matt Collins (Uncle Fester) made a fine 46. Clough & Vaughan a quick 10 & 14 respectively. Kinsella smashed them for 33, even with a bad hip. Peter Rogan's 36 was delightful, he is in fine form.
Through pouring rain we got through with win no.3, now 3 and 3. Cloughy bowled superbly bowling 23 straight, taking 5/42, awesome display. Kina and Vaughany chipped in with 2/28 and 2/18 respectively, and Uncle Fester taking 1/2. This ship is turning and the 2nds are on the way back. Mark my words, we are only going to get better!!
